LUM PARK BEACH
      A lifeguard will be on duty seven days a week from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. from mid-June to early August.  Otherwise swimming will be at your own risk.  The city reserves the right to close the beach in times of inclement or severe weather.  The telephone number for the beach house is 828-6080.  Click HERE to get information on swimming lessons. DISC GOLF

A nine hole disc golf course was developed at Lum Park in 1997. Course maps and playing rules are available at the park office.  There is no cost for use of this course.  Back to top

RV CAMPGROUND

Lum Park Campground opens on May 1st and closes in mid-October. It is located on Rice Lake and the Mississippi River on Hwy 210 E, just inside the Brainerd city limits.  There are eighteen 40' x 55' sites; all are equipped with water, electricity, and cable TV hookups, as well as picnic tables and fire rings.  There is a sanitation station onsite.  Firewood is available for sale from the campground host.  SORRY, tent camping is not allowed.  Our regular daily rate is $25.00, and the senior citizen rate (55+) is $20.00.  There is a 2-day minimum stay requirement over holiday weekends (Memorial Day, Labor Day, and the 4th of July if applicable).

 

Driving Directions to Lum Park Campground

 

From 371 South:  Follow Business Hwy 371 into Brainerd. At Hwy 210, go east (right) 1.7 miles. The park entrance is on the left.

From 25 South:  At Hwy 210, go east (right) at the stoplight. The park entrance is the third left turn lane after the light.

From 371 North:  At Hwy 210, go east (left) 4 miles. The park entrance is the third left turn lane after the light.

OR, to avoid driving through town,

Go left (east) at the stoplight at Cnty Rd 49, turn right (south) at the stoplight at Cnty Rd 3, then left (east) at the stoplight at Hwy 210. The park entrance is the third left turn lane after the light.

From County Road 3 North:  At Hwy 210, go east (left) at the stoplight.  The park entrance is the third left turn lane after the light.

From 210 East:  Lum Park is 2.1 miles west of the Brainerd-Crow Wing County Regional Airport. The park entrance is on the right. There is a gray AUTO BODY shop on the left, across from the park entrance.

From 210 West:  Go 4 miles east from the junction of 371 N. The park entrance is the third left turn lane after the stoplight at Hwy 25 and Cnty Rd 3.
